Romeo Tsusi is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of MRT LAW INC.

Romeo speciality is corporate and commercial law, including advising on Merger’s and Acquisition(M&A), he has diverse practice which includes a spectrum of corporate, commercial and the litigation services which touch on a wide range of sectors, including but not limited to Agribusiness, Aviation, Construction, Gambling, Logistics, Media and Tele-communications,  Private Equity, Regulatory Compliance, Security Services, Transport, and Property Law

He has extensive experience in advising on all aspects of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions in jurisdictions such as Egypt, Angola, Ivory Coast, Canada, Mauritius, Nigeria, United Arab Emirates, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States of America.

Romeo has advised clients on crucial private and public deals, and regarding the structuring and implementation of significant black economic empowerment transactions as well as joint ventures, asset disposals and acquisitions in the South Africa.

Romeo is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with rights of appearance in the High Courts of South Africa, and he is completing his LLM in Corporate Law.

Zunurah Williams is a Senior Associate at MRT LAW INC.

Her Corporate, Commercial and Regulatory Compliance expertise spans across an array of legal sectors which include, Agribusiness, Aviation, Corporate and Commercial, Construction, Energy, Dispute Resolution, Insurance, Intellectual Property Law, Private Equity, Property Law, Public law, Restructuring, Transport and Logistics, Mining, and Commercial Litigation.

Zunurah has experience in transactional work, mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, focusing mainly on drafting and reviewing a variety of commercial agreements, performing due diligence investigations, as well as drafting legal opinions and providing general advice on company
law and contractual matters.

Zunurah is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with rights of appearance in the High Courts of South Africa, and she is pursuing her LLM in Corporate Law and International Taxation.

Lufefe Zwelendba is an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial department of our Cape Town office.

Lufefe has an extensive experience in High Court commercial litigation (both trial and motion proceedings), settlement negotiations and mediation. He has acted for clients in a range of different sectors and in matters involving contract law, company law, property, and technology law.

Lufefe also has an experience in Employment Law which includes drafting employment law agreements and representing clients in instituting and defending disputes. In this regard Lufefe represents and appears for clients in arbitrations at the CCMA and in the Labour Court.

Lufefe has an LLB degree from the University of Fort Hare.

Achuma Mangele is a first year Candidate Attorney currently performing her practical vocational training at MRT LAW INC.

Achuma obtained her LLB degree from the University of the Western Cape and commenced her articles of clerkship at MRT LAW INC. in January 2023.

During her studies, Achuma remained comprehensive and multi-skilled by participating in a range of extra-curricular activities. She served as the Head Coordinator of the Street Law Society’s Media Committee, the Black Lawyers Association Subcommittee’s Events and Projects Representative, and a mentee of the Excel@Uni Mentorship program.

Achuma is a meticulous, competent, and passionate professional with keen interest in Corporate and Commercial and Labour Law.

With diligence and passion, Achuma looks forward to adding value to MRT LAW, while expanding her legal knowledge and skills.

Zolitha Lungcuzo is the Marketing and Office Manager at MRT LAW INC.

Zolitha is responsible for the swift management and operations of MRT LAW INC, including but not limited to our digital marketing, HR, bookkeeping and accounts, client-liaison and executive support.

She is masterful and diligent in the swift management and operational requirements of MRT LAW INC. Zolitha’s compassion, wisdom and propensity for good judgement is visible in the firm, mostly by virtue of the atmosphere and culture the firm provides to its employees and clients at large.

Zolitha has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of the Western Cape.
